HI-MACS® once again impressed their visitors with a superb stand at the recent Imm Cologne 2010. The installation “Reception Office” inside Pure Village, the new presentation format for all important furniture ranges at Hall 3.2, was a perfect combination between smooth thermoformed surfaces and a futuristic view of interior design.

Curved and horizontal shapes featured in the design of the Spanish architecture studio ACero have been created by famous architects Joaquin Torres and Rafael Llamazares. The extraordinary properties offered by HI-MACS® played an essential role in solving the construction of the stand.

Stylish lines, suggestive and modern HI-MACS® sculptures with a focus in the whole approach, were the fundamental characteristics of the installation, supported by the impeccable fabrication of Grupo Candido Hermida. A unique occasion to see and anticipate new trends for HI-MACS® interior design applications.

HI-MACS® has been furthermore been selected as one of the 100 nominees for the “Material Innovation” category at Interior Innovation Award, selecting the most prominent innovations of the year.
